![]() ![]() Otherwise he'd be like Young Link and be the same as old Bowser in spirit, but with smoother animations and more personality ![]() Entrance animation and FS could be the same as Bowser Our first character that was drastically changed enough that a whole separate semi-clone character is worth it Bring back his Japanese VA to re-record Melee lines like they did for Roy His entrance animation and FS are the same as Fox Fox, but more. Appearance would be nearly identical to Mario 64 promotional renders. I don't know, turning Metal and sending everyone to Hazy Maze Cave to die from poison? Mario's FS would be stupid on Mario (64). Long jump on the ground, lunge in the air He'd have to get Modern Mario's up/down throws, but for side special, I think long jump and lunge are good options. ![]() And I really liked Mario's animations and voice in 64. So for a 64 character, I went with Mario, who is character #1 and a nice basic representation of Smash 64. The mechanics of Smash 64 means pretty much every character there had drastic changes from 64->Melee, but really, at their core, basically every character hasn't changed that much So then I decided to just two from Melee lol I really have a hard time thinking of a Smash 4 character that's different enough from Ultimate, AND different enough from just bringing back the Brawl version of that character Originally, I thought 4 would work, one from each game, but. I was sleepy and letting my mind wander and thought of a DLC pack of 4 "classic" characters which are drastically changed or well known movesets of fighters updated like Young Link, Pichu and Smash 4 Mewtwo, where they tried to be as accurate as possible to the old moveset, while modernizing the animations and mechanics of the character ![]()
